How to hard reset Infinix Zero 5

There are many reasons why you may wish to hard reset Infinix Zero 5. Hard resetting your Android device is never a thing to fear.

How to hard reset Infinix Zero 5

Press and hold the volume up button together with the power button till your phone shows Infinix. Release immediately and wait until it shows No command.

    1. Hold the power button for 2 to 3 seconds and tap the volume up button to enter the stock recovery option. If it fails, try it up to 3 times.
    2. Use the volume down and up button to select any recovery option.
    3. Select “Wipe data and factory reset
    4. Press the power button to Choose it
    5. Scroll to choose YES

Wait until the data wipe is complete. Now choose Reboot system now.

Your device has successfully been restored to default settings.

  1. Not working. I purchased an infinix X5010 today. On updating System update it has denied to reboot. Only showing Infinix Powered by Android. Please assist.

    • From what I have seen, hard reset is working.

      Meanwhile since your phone is less than 24hours, you have the privilege to return it.

      On the other hand, your update got stucked during your update. We cannot help further than recommend you return the phone to where you bought it
