Instagram to be increasing its video length to 60 seconds

One could upload a video moment on Instagram at most 15 seconds timer. Well for those that love using Instagram for their ads promoting, selfie video posting needs, you will be happy to hear that could be able to upload even longer ones starting today.

According to Instagram, “In the last six months, the time people spent watching video increased by more than 40 percent. And longer videos mean more diverse stories from the accounts you love.” With these statistics, increasing the streaming length of videos on Instagram became their next upgrades. That is people to start uploading even longer clips. As of today, the video limit will be 60 seconds.

Longer video on Instagram begins rolling out today and will be available for everyone in the coming months. Multi-clip video is available this week as part of Instagram for iOS version 7.19 in Apple’s App Store.

Originally, Instagram allowed a video time limit of 15 seconds which could not be okay for advertisers, friends to share moments to their fans. Now, with four times the length, you should be able to do a lot more with your videos.
